Sakop ng 20% discount na ipinagkaloob sa mga senior citizen ang prescribed at over-the-counter medicines, medically prescribed vitamins at supplements, ayon sa Department of Health #DOH. Nilinaw ito ni Sen. Imee Marcos sa pagdinig ng Senate Committee on Social Justice, Welfare, and Rural Development ngayong araw, April 24.

Dagdag pa ng kagawaran, hindi na kailangan ng prescription upang mabigyan ng discount sa over-the-counter medicines at kailangan na lamang dalhin ang purchase booklet at ID.

“For the over the counter medicines as per our pharmacy law also we don’t require prescription and those automatically apply twenty percent as long as they bring the requirements. You need to bring the booklet the ID for it to be applied,” ayon kay Dr. Gabriele Domingo ng DOH.

Tinalakay rin ni Sen. Marcos kung ano ang parusang ipapataw sa mga botika na hindi susunod sa pagbibigay ng discount. #News5
