Harvey Weinstein’s 2020 conviction for sexual assault and rape was overturned by New York’s highest court on Thursday (April 25), reopening the landmark case that fueled the #MeToo movement and highlighting the challenges of holding powerful men accountable. Speaking at the Time 100 gala, #MeToo movement founder Tarana Burke said: /”I’m disappointed. I’m angry. I’m sad because no matter what work we do, they still keep getting it wrong.”
