Grupo ng bio students, namangha sa bumulaga sa kanilang dolphins sa Cebu

Namangha ang grupo ng 3rd year biology students mula University of the Philippines-Cebu nang bumulaga sa kanila ang pod ng dolphins na lumalangoy habang nagsasagawa sila ng field work sa karagatan ng Tabuelan, Cebu nitong April 7.

“This was our first field work and we were the first team to go to the open sea… We did not expect to see these beautiful creatures at all,” kuwento ng uploader na si Aireen Voctoria sa post niya sa TikTok.

Ibinahagi rin ni Aireen ang naranasan nila noong pagkakataong iyon.

“We felt like we were extremely lucky. Kasi, first of all, pumunta lang kami sa open sea na naka-set talaga ‘yung mind namin for serious field work and no anticipation of anything fun. Kaya nung nagpakita ‘yung mga dolphin, nag shift talaga yung mood namin at mas naging excited sa field work,” ayon kay Aireen.

Inilarawan pa ni Aireen na isang masuwerteng pagkakataon para sa kanila ang kanilang interaction sa mga dolphin.

“We felt really lucky kasi the chances of seeing dolphins in a specific place and in a specific time are very low, so we felt kind of special. Saka we also realized na it was correlated with the lucky number 7 kasi we started spotting the dolphins in Point 7 (our 7th sampling point), we were Team 7, and we did the field work on the 7th day of April.
