On The Scene: Taiwan said on Wednesday (June 26) that it had chased away Chinese coast guard vessels from waters off one of its outlying islands, Kinmen, while also criticising China for /”improper law enforcement methods/” and interference in the Pacific. The Chinese mainland coast guard authority meanwhile said it warned Taiwan’s /”coast guard/” vessels off waters near Kinmen, a small island close to the mainland, during a routine law enforcement patrol.
