On The Scene: Hội An city used to be a flourishing craft village, but 20 years ago, the pottery village was on the brink of collapse. Locals and government authorities made efforts to encourage artisans to preserve their craft. The pottery village has been turned into a tourist destination, and part of the revenue generated from ticket sales is used to support local potters. Now, many households have returned to the profession. Thanh Hà village is now home to more than 30 pottery-making households.
