On The Scene: Britain’s Prime Minister, Keir Starmer on Sunday (July 7) vowed to deliver for Scotland, /”making good on my commitment/” at a meeting with Scottish Labour Leader, Anas Sarwar, in Edinburgh, just two days after the election. Starmer, whose party won 37 seats in Scotland, said he would travel there first before heading to Northern Ireland and Wales to /”cements the relationship/” with the country’s devolved governments. The Labour leader won one of the largest parliamentary majorities in modern British history on Friday (July 5).
