Tweetie, who did a crossover from modeling to acting in 1990, is rarely seen in public gatherings. In 1996, she bid goodbye to her role as Faye Kabisote in /”Okay Ka, Fairy Ko/” and chose to focus more on starting a family.
Now at 57 years old, the former model-actress is an entrepreneur leading her eponymous company TDLG, with its line of jewelry, accessories, bags, and swimwear.
She and husband Jose Ramon /”Mon/” Gonzalez have been married for 29 years and were blessed with four kids: Sabina (27), Lorenzo (26), Nicolas (24), and Alfonso (19).
On being honored by Preview with the brand’s 2024 Style Icon Award, Tweetie said, /”I’m so flattered. First of all, I was shocked, I never knew I would receive such recognition at this stage in my life. Very grateful, very flattered like I said.
/”I’m happy to be still part of fashion, very much so, especially with Preview whose birth I witnessed,/” continued Tweetie who was Preview Magazine’s cover girl on its maiden issue back in 1995.
