Sa FIFA Women’s World Cup naman, nanalo sila kontra sa host country na New Zealand sa ikalawang game sa group stage.

Hindi man nakamit ang inaasam na kampyonado sa FIFA World Cup, patuloy pa rin ang laban ng Filipinas para makamit ang karangalan para sa bayan, at sa mga susunod pang henerasyon ng football players.
