Ginawaran ng parangal ngayong araw, June 19 ng Armed Forces of the Philippines #AFP ang sundalo ng Philippine Navy na naputulan ng daliri matapos ang marahas na panghaharang ng China Coast Guard sa Philippine vessel habang nagsasagawa ng resupply mission sa BRP Sierra Madre sa Ayungin Shoal noong June 17.
