President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on June 29, 2023 says he has yet to choose who will be the next head of the Department of Education (DepEd), admitting, /”it is harder than I thought because we absolutely have to get it right./” The President said he would announce by the end of the week the replacement of Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio as DepEd chief.
