Russia and China on Sunday (April 14) called for restraint following Iran’s attack on Israel, noting during a U.N. Security Council meeting that Tehran has stated its intention to avoid further escalation and that it considers the matter to be “concluded”. U.S. Ambassador Robert A. Wood said Iran will be held responsible if it takes further actions against Israel or the United States, during the United Nations Security Council meeting on Saturday (April 14). United Kingdom’s representative Barbara Woodward echoed the U.S. representative in condemning the Iranian attack that they say also endangered Jordan and Iraq.
