Commission on Population and Development (CPD), formerly known as the Population Commission (PopCom), said that the Philippines’ population may reach 115 million by the end of 2023. CPD Deputy Executive Director Lolito Tacardon said, however, that the country’s birth rate continues to decline as more women are deciding to have fewer children.
