Filipina boxer Nesthy Petecio outclassed Indian Jaismine Lamboria in the Paris Olympics women’s 57kg round of 32, winning via unanimous decision at the North Paris Arena Wednesday midnight, July 31, 2024 (Manila time). The first female boxer from the Philippines to medal at the Olympics will face French Amina Zidani in the round of 16 on August 3 at 2 a.m. in Manila.
