After failing to pin Roland’s death on Moises, Justin devises a new plan to frame him for drug dealing. In the process, one of Moises’ closest friends is arrested, leaving Moises with no choice but to defy the law and go on the run.

Maxene offers her help, but Moises refuses, not wanting to put her at risk. Instead, he turns to Tyrone, a fellow fraternity member, unaware that it’s a setup. In a violent confrontation with Justin, Moises manages to escape, but Justin quickly paints him as a dangerous criminal in the media. With his life in ruins and the police on his trail, Moises feels he has no choice but to take matters into his own hands. He secretly records Justin confessing to the crime, but Justin intercepts the video, shattering Moises’ plan.

Meanwhile, Diego uses Mercedes’ dark secret to blackmail her for money, as she struggles to cope with her haunted past. Ernesto intensifies his search for his missing daughter, while Moises, with nowhere else to turn, finds help from someone he can truly trust.
