No comment ang Commission on Elections sa babala ni dating Caloocan Congressman Edgar Erice na posibleng maraming hindi makaboto gamit ang bagong automated counting machines ng Miru Systems Company Limited mula Korea.

Ayon sa COMELEC, nakabitin pa ang isyung ito sa korte suprema lalo na’t lumalabas na lone bidder lang ang nasabing kumpanya, kaya mahirap humanap ng iba pang provider.

Nilinaw naman ng dating mambabatas na hindi niya ipinipilit ang mga lumang counting machines na una na ring idineklara ng COMELEC na unusable.
