Tatlong araw nang naka-angkla ang pinakamalaking barko ng China Coast Guard sa Escoda Shoal na bahagi ng exclusive economic zone ng Pilipinas.

Lumapit na ito sa barko ng Philippine Coast Guard na BRP Teresa Magbanua at 800 yarda o 700 metro na lang ang pagitan.

Sa radio challenge ng PCG, hindi tumutugon ang CCG kung ano ang intensyon nito sa Sabina.
