The water level at the Marikina River reaches 17 meters on July 24, 2024 due to the non-stop heavy rains spawned by the southwest monsoon and Typhoon ‘Carina.’ This prompted the city government to raise a second alarm, which means residents in nearby areas will be evacuated.
