House of Representatives ‘Deputy Speaker David Suarez, Surigao del Norte Rep. Robert Ace Barbers, and Manila Rep Ernesto Dionisio say that there should be more ‘innovative ways’ in resolving the flood problem in Metro Manila during a press conference at the House of Representatives on July 31, 2024. Barbers also agreed with former senator Panfilo Lacson that some politicians ‘could have pocketed’ some funds for their flood control projects but called for a more thorough investigation and that not every member of Congress should be blamed for the flooding.
