On The Scene: Iran launched a swarm of explosive drones and fired missiles at Israel late on Saturday (April 13) in its first ever direct attack on Israeli territory against Israel’s bombing of its consulate in Syria’s capital on April 1 that killed seven members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The Israeli military said the armed forces had shot down more than 99% of the over 300 Iranian drones and missiles and were discussing follow-up options as it remains on high alert. Iran warned Israel on Sunday (April 14) of a larger attack on its territory should it retaliate against Tehran’s overnight drone and missile attack.
