Ecstatic England fans celebrated in London on Saturday (July 6) as England reached the Euro 2024 semi-finals after beating Switzerland in penalty shootouts.
They had been watching the tense match on a big screen at a venue near Wembley stadium where the England team lost the Euro 2020 final against Italy.
The mood went from disappointed when Switzerland scored first but ecstatic after Trent Alexander-Arnold slammed home the decisive kick to give England an emotional shootout victory over Switzerland.
England’s next game is in Dortmund on Wednesday (July 10) against either Netherlands or Turkey.
