WATCH: Former US President Donald Trump was evacuated from the stage at a rally on Saturday (US time) after what sounded like shots rang out at the event in Pennsylvania, according to a report from Reuters.

The former president had just started his speech when gunshots erupted. Secret Service agents swarmed around Trump and video from the event showed blood on the right side of Trump’s face and ear, Reuters reported.

UPDATE: Trump is safe, according to an update by the US Secret Service and Reuters.
