Kinumpirma ni Energy Regulatory Commission chair Atty. Monalisa Dimalanta sa panayam ng #TedFailonandDJChaCha na nasa P18 bilyon ng power generation costs ang ipapasa ng mga electric cooperative sa mga konsyumer.
Ngunit hindi raw kaagad isasama ito sa singil sa kuryente ngayon. P15.77 bilyon dito ay nasa ilalim ng Meralco franchise.
Kaugnay ito sa desisyon ng Korte Suprema na ipasa sa mga konsyumer ang power generation costs sa mga konsyumer na pinigilan ng ERC noong 2013.
