To mark a decade of the devastation wrought by Supertyphoon ‘Yolanda,’ climate walkers on Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2023, traveled to Tacloban City in Leyte where they crossed the iconic San Juanico Bridge to reach the Sta. Rita Junction in Samar. They were welcomed here by local communities, schools and organizations in Eastern Visayas, which was the hardest hit region by one of the strongest typhoons on record to hit land in 2013.
