Nagpahayag na ng pagkabahala ang mga residente sa Pag-asa Island sa West Philippine Sea dahil sa patuloy na paglapit sa isla ng mga barko ng Chinese Coast Guard.

Ayon sa ilang residente, regular na dumadaan doon ang mga barko ng China pero ngayon lamang nila ito nakitang lumapit sa mismong bahura ng isla.
